II.D. SUBMIT: FACTION SWITCHING
| RULES AND BASICS Your character is not stuck with the faction you apped them to! You can jump ship between Earth-PC and Colony-PC, from Earth-PC or Colony-PC to Plot PC, or from Plot-PC to Earth-PC or Colony-PC. IC and OOC opportunity restraints No one may jump factions until the OOC fourth week of the game, when the Morning Star and Pericles first dock at the same neutral territory. After the initial embargo, characters can only jump ship/faction when there is adequate IC opportunity to do so. Characters can always jump ship while their ship is docked somewhere. Characters can jump ship when their ship is floating dead in space… if the character steals transport off the ship or has superpowers. Characters will have no way to jump ship if there are no working shuttles on their ship. In other words: you can’t jump ship unless there is physically a way to leave the place you are at.
